Cross Street Gallery specialises in Modernist and Contemporary British Art with a bias towards abstraction, Pop Art and the St Ives School.
Cross Street Gallery opened in a former bakery in 1998. It is situated in one of the nicest small shopping streets in central Islington, just off Upper Street and halfway between Angel and Highbury Corner. The Almeida Theatre is 150 yards up the road.

We hold half a dozen one man shows a year, roughly split between contemporary painting and limited edition print exhibitions. In between times we have an ever changing collection of gallery stock on the walls.

Regular favourites include David Hockney, Bridget Riley, Patrick Caulfield, Peter Blake, Paula Rego and Patrick Heron alongside work by up and coming artists.
